Iasonas Lalaounis 23, killed while riding his motorcycle, on 12th March right outside of the side entry of the Parliament of Greece by the illegally-moving service vehicle of MP Ntora Mpakogianni.
In the aftermath of his death, labor unions and left-wing organisations called for protests. In Patras, the organisation "Class Initiative of Motorcyclist Workers" called for a motorcycle protest against the misinformation and cover up of Iaosona's murder from the media. One of the claims of the protestors is the better working conditions in the sector.
